Biography

Lejos de engendrar un idilio por la musica, Esteban Rojas tomo como propio un destino como vocalista y autor de liricas cargadas con sentimiento, energia y por que no, un poco de su historia personal.

Versatil en sus acordes, cumple a cabalidad con su rol en la agrupacion punk rock conocida como Mute (antiguo Sabotage) donde demuestra la capacidad de combinar un genero sumamente volatil con melodias acentuadas en realidades individuales y colectivas.

No obstante, debido a su exposicion a diversas influencias musicales y culturales decide aventurarse con un lado ritmico mas suave y alternativo que lo somete a revelar su verdadero caracter como musico e individuo. Experimentando entre sonidos, voces, canciones y pasiones se identifica con su opuesto bipolar romantico y prueba suerte con la acustica de la guitarra y su tono plagado de gran sentido ritmico y armonico, asi como contundente cuando lo amerita, lo cual le augura un futuro prominente en la musica.

Desde hace un tiempo, Esteban se ha dedicado a grabar algunos temas que poco a poco han ido calando en el imaginario popular.

Far from nourishing an idyll for music, Esteban Rojas took as its own a destiny as a vocalist and author of sentimentalist and energy charged lyrics, and why not, a little of his personal history. Versatile in his chords, accomplishes perfectly his role in the melodic punk band known as MUTE (former Sabotage) where he proves his capacity of combining a heavily volatile genre with melodies that accentuate individual and collective realities.

Nevertheless, due to his exposure to different musical and cultural influences he decides to adventure himself with a more soft and alternative side in rhythms that obliges him to reveal his true character as a musician and individual. Experimenting between sounds, voices, passions and songs, he identifies with his opposite romantic bipolar self and tries luck with the acoustics of his guitar and his tone plagued with a great sense of rhythm and harmony, as well as strong vocals when its needed.

For a while now, Esteban has been dedicated to record some tracks that little by little have been growing and leaving a mark on the scene.
